Make Yourself a Priority with these Easy Overnight Oats

Fueling your body first thing in the morning with quality protein, fat and fiber is a great beginning for a successful day. This combination leaves your body feeling full and energized for the day. Plus the fiber helps keep your hunger a bay for a longer period of time. Mapping out your meal the night before will make it easier for you to achieve your goal.

Overnight oats is the perfect solution to those mornings when finding time to do anything for you is out of the picture.  With just a few minutes in the evening to prepare this simple meal, your healthy breakfast will be ready for you to go.  Some of the staples you’ll need are rolled oats, Setton Farm Pistachios, Chia seeds, cinnamon, milk or water, and fresh fruit.  What makes this recipe so special are the pistachios. They provide heart healthy fat, protein, and fiber and contain the least amount of calories per serving over other nuts.

Cinnamon Overnight Oats with Pistachios and fresh fruit

1 serving










  1. 1Ž2 cup of rolled oats
  2. 1 cup milk or water of choice (I love unsweetened almond milk)
  3. 1 heaping teaspoon of Chia seeds
  4. 2 tablespoons of shelled pistachios OR Setton Farms Pistachio Chewy Bites
  5. 1Ž2 cup fresh berries (or any fruit)
  6. 1Ž2 tsp of cinnamon

Quick Trick- To increase the antioxidant power in your oats, swap out the pistachios for Pistachio Chewy Bites.  They are made with cranberries that contain antioxidants.  Adding antioxidants to your daily diet may help strengthen your ability to fight infection and disease.



Place all ingredients in a small Mason jar or Pyrex container, mix and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours.   Enjoy!
